2018 Celebration then…

Reading this mornings posts on my many emails and came across the following by Karl Moore.

2018-
A year to love what you see in the mirror
A year to say yes to adventure
A year to eat more green food. (real food)
A year to send handwritten notes.
A year buy less, and choose well.
A year to give out too many compliments.
A year to travel.
A year to kind to strangers.
A year to be more “in the moment.”
A year to learn from others.
A year to volunteer your time.
A year to embrace simplicity.

This is Your year. Embrace it.

I feel I should add to this list.
A year to embrace someone.
A year to enjoy your technology.
A year to clear your path and follow it.
A year to get up and move on.
Finally a year to do what you want to do.

With all of that, please protect yourself with your technology. One of the things I am really good at is training. Find a way to store your passwords securely and change them from time to time. One perfect tool that I recommend is Keepass. This has been recommended by Security Professionals.
Keepass site to download keepass. FREE

When you are ready, we can talk. Please don’t hesitate to contact me.

2018 is going to be a good year.

Merry Christmas! 2018 is new, majestic, and here!

12/22/2017

This has been some year of amazing challenges, new technology and new computers. Now you can get almost anything you want and go as far as you want. There is no need to wait. Although the possibilities are endless, so are the threats. Let me say that I am here to help. There is no doubt that it is a difficult world with difficult challenges. Many companies produce products that tell you that they will make your life simpler. But does it really?

There was an cartoon years ago that showed a business executive wanting to buy a computer. The salesman explained to the executive that the computer in question will save half his work. The executive responded by saying that he would take two of them. Everything is changing, growing, shrinking, twisting and collapsing on itself. There is not an end to this.

Theodore Roosevelt said “In a moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing.” Unfortunately, nothing is something that too many tend to do. I have worked with all kinds of people, and I find too many do nothing about computer problems or technology problems until there is often little hope of recovery. I feel sad for them when I have to tell someone that there data is not recoverable. I want so badly to make sure each of us is not taken advantage of by someone that tries to convince you that they know what they are doing and most often not.

Start off 2018 right and care for your technology.

Let me be Your Left Brain

your-attention-please-clipart-1   Welcome Friend,
You have arrived at a place that is safe as it looks out for your best interest. This is a place that admires and addresses the tools that help make you all that you can be. The computer is the tool that you need to have function at the time when spirit most calls you. The time when you most need your computer to work perfectly it may not. This is when you most need me.

Many regards.
